Life is certainly exciting - I can tell you that! Today has been filled with thoughts - reviewing the activities of the recent past, as well as looking in to the distant past. Thinking about the days and months to come with excited anticipation. Blessings have been there, always, whether I was looking or not! What is that song about "unanswered prayers"?
As I am facing a new, exciting chapter in my life I stop to reflect and give thanks for all that has brought me to this spot. I have been struggling with updating my website - trying to make it complicated, sophisticated and ... what? And ... why? It's pretty simple, really! I noot to quit trying to over-complicate it! I have good, experienced assistance, so I should relax! We are all a product of our path in life, right? So why am I trying to over-complicate it? Guess I'm still that six year old kid!! I want to fit in, do everything right and make everyone happy! Haven't we all been there?
What makes me happy? Creating. Teaching. Making things 'beautiful', creatively and figuratively. Helping people achieve beauty within their homes - helping discover and implement their vision. Taking something and making it beautiful. Repurposing. Saving that piece of furniture passed down from another generation, loving it and making it a part of our today. So, while it is premature to make an annoucement while T's arent crossed and I's aren't dotted, I remain excited and ready!
